Reviews
The service was nice and friendly but we didn’t enjoy the pasta so much. Pasta was not fresh, probably. The sauce tasted like a simple home cooked one. Also, the chocolate cake was too plain and dry. The atmosphere were interesting and nice, although the tables were very close to each other.
We had an excellent meal here with good service and good food. The restaurant is very atmospheric with ornate and interesting decor. Looking forward to returning.
This place was amazing. Manager greeted us and treated us like old friends. The atmosphere was cozy and elegant. Great menu, amazing food, excellent service. This is a new favorite place, can’t wait to go back!
Another visit and another amazing review! Cannot recommend this place enough. Greeted like old friends, amazing food and the service is amazing!!
This place is perfect for a date night or a celebration with a group of friends. The interior is playful and crazy (in a positive way). Comfy, cozy and chaotic they said, and I agree.
Truly a wonderful place. We were walking around the area south of the river, which we were told is less touristy and has better restaurants, and we walked by this place and felt that it had a good atmosphere. We noted it, kept walking, and eventually decided to go back because it felt like the best choice in the area, and I guess we have good instincts because we were very pleasantly greeted with a wonderful staff and some of the best food we’ve had in a long time. Everything is quality here, not a tourist trap at all, but also very friendly to tourists.
They really care about the wine pairings with their food, and we ate here twice in three days, and honestly, should have just come here every night because the one meal we had at a different place was nowhere near as good (although we picked a bad spot) but everything we ordered really was excellent. The pasta is perfectly cooked, we had truffle pasta at a really great price, and the wine is also very well priced and all very good, no crappy wine here.
You can tell they really care about what they do, and I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Also has nice quirky decor and great ambience, super friendly staff and just a great time to be had. I wish I could let more people know about this place so they could avoid the tourist traps north of the river. South of the river is the way to go.
We had an amazing lunch at this place. Perfect choice if you want to go with friends as some of the dishes are shareable. I personally recommend the coccoli prosciutto and the mussels, which is the restaurant’s specialty. Yet, there are also many other options to choose from authentic Italian dishes
Fell for the nice atmosphere at first.
Two stars for the waiters for being fairly quick and nice.
But the food was pretty bad. The mussels (specialty of the house) were very fishy and not enjoyable at all. We were very worried finishing them and so left half of them untouched.
The lamb chops were extremely dry. Overly cooked / fried.
The pasta with black truffles was absolutely tasteless. Even after adding salt, pepper and olive oil we weren’t able to finish it.
The drinks were alright. But no more than that.
A place like this does feel like a tourist trap.
Love it, go there and try their mussels.
+ Mussels in white souce were really delicious (1 kg with homemade fries = 20 eur🔝
+ White wine (suggested by the waiter) also nice, it went well with the mussels 🍾
+ Staff was extremely polite, professional and relaxed 👍
+ Interesting ambient and design of the whole restaurant...
+ Prices are very fair ...
Very good dinner experience, I definitely recommend it 😉
